Jimere

Jimere is a contemporary artist known for pushing the boundaries of artistic expression through various mediums. Jimere's formal education in the arts began at Sookmyung women’s university fine art where they honed their skills in painting, drawing, and sculpture.

From a young age, Jimere displayed a remarkable talent for visual arts and an unquenchable curiosity for exploring the world through creative lenses. Jimere’s contributions to the art world have not gone unnoticed. They have received a lot of attention and attend a lot of exhibitions. She believed that every person, big or small, has his or her own various forms of deficiency. Her artwork extends mainly from their surroundings and the natural beauty of her direct experiences and stories. And, that is the beginning of the "deficient monsters" which have eyes in the form of pill shapes.When you look at monsters, you look indirectly at someone's deficiency,she wants that to become an experience to face my inner deficiencies.
