Artist's Note
Jeon Ye-jin born in 1988, who graduated from Hongik University, Department of Painting.
Her artwork reflects on life's impermanence, driven by a loved one's death. She aims to find meaning in the present moment but acknowledges the difficulty of staying present. "Twisted World," explores dreamlike moments with masked figures. These artworks emerged during a stressful time and depict an alternate reality as a refuge.Jeon Ye-jin primarily uses acrylic and oil pastels but also experiments with digital media. Their goal is to create contemplative spaces in their art where viewers can immerse themselves in the present moment and explore life's meaning.
