Sudaporn Teja
Sudaporn is is a Thai abstract artist and conceptual artist, who intertwines stories of life with insights from anthropological,
sociological, and historical issues. The artist sources and synthesizes conceptual abstractions in the contemporary world, such as cultural belief, time, and freedom, transforming information into hidden symbols in her oeuvres. She is known for her exhibitions, where she seamlessly presents abstract art alongside conceptual art in
response to both emotions and notions by interdisciplinary approach across different media, combining abstract painting, mixedmedia
installation, video, and photography.
The artworks frequently make references to primary research, real-life narratives, chronicle archives, and literature. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from Chiang Mai University.
She was amongst international artists accepted in Thaillywood
residency, whose solo exhibitions were held at Serindia Gallery,
Alliance Française, Galerie Jean-François Cazeau in France, and Gallery VER. Sudaporn has presented her works in numerous group exhibitions locally and internationally, including Rencontre Abstraite, ART for AIR, SPECTROSYNTHESIS II, Art Hsinchu, Art Stage SG, and PAD Paris.
