Navin Tantanadaecha
Navin Tantanadaecha is a teaching artist based in Bangkok, Thailand, known for exploring the profound relationship between art and life. He earned a Bachelor of Education in Art Education at Chulalongkorn University, shaping his understanding of how creativity can inspire and challenge perspectives. Since 2012, Navin has focused on watercolor painting, gaining insights into life through his artistic process. Recognized as an abstract minimal artist, his works reflect the layers of his journey and discovery.
In 2018, Navin unveiled abstract pieces that communicate complex emotions and life experiences, sparking conversations about humanity during exhibitions in Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan. His solo exhibition, “Presence of Mind,” held in 2023 at Saratta Space, Bangkok, beautifully captured the essence of the present moment, mirroring his artistic identity.
Recently, Navin has pushed his artistic boundaries by transitioning from watercolor to acrylic paint, employing extremely thin layers to document insights and emotions that arise during creation. Alongside his studio work, he designs and conducts art workshops that connect participants with the art-making process, bridging the worlds of creativity and everyday life.
