Chung Young-hwan

Chung Young Hwan is an artist who was born in 1970 and graduated from the suwon college fine. Chung Young-Hwan's works take inspiration from nature, viewing humans as integral parts of it. Believing that nature encompasses humanity, he mirrors this connection in his arts. They abstractly represent nature by creating unique compositions from real scenes or borrowed media images. Trees and forests are placed appearing to levitate and forming a boundary between reality and unreality. This boundary serves as a pathway for communication. The empty space in the landscape symbolizes infinite thought in Asian perspective, metaphorically representing air and wind. His process involves meticulous layering with both bold and delicate brush strokes, resulting in a landscape that reflects the intricate connection between humans and nature.
